In order for requests to be processsed in a timely manner, Mr. Woodson has been designated as the Online Training Supervisor, due to volume of requests. We now have 5 streaming videos available for online training. You must be assigned a user name and password. The Academy is currently working on redirecting some coursework to Online Training for the 2010 calendar year, for student convenience.

To take an online course:
- Decide which course you would like to take.
- Contact the Academy to:
- Tell us what course you would like to take.
- Request a username and password to access the online training site.
- At this time you will be notified if you need any supplemental material for the course that you wish to take.
- Watch and read any supplemental material that you receive for the course.
- Once you feel you have a good understanding of the material sign onto the online training site by clicking the link below.
Print the following as a guide to further navigate the site:
- Once signed onto the site check to see if there are any course documents for your course by clicking the “Course Documents” link on the left.
- After reviewing that course’s documents or if there are no documents for that course, click on the “Tests” link on the left.
- Select the test that you wish to take by clicking on the test name.
- Read the instruction for the test and make yourself aware of the time limit that the test is restricted to. Select “Begin Test Now” link to begin the test.
- Select the best answer for each question. Multiple-choice questions only have one answer.
- When you have answered all of the questions on a page select the next button. You will have the ability to go back to change any of your answers.
- At the end of the test there will be a link at the bottom of the page that reads “Finalize Test.” Click this link when you are ready to submit your answers for grading.
- You will receive your score immediately once you finalize the test. You must pass the test with a score of 70% or higher to receive your In-Service credit.
- An email will automatically be sent to the Academy administrator to let us know your score.
- If you receive a score lower than a 70% you will need to contact the Academy to let us know you would like to retake the test so you have another chance to receive your In-Service credit.
- When you are completed sign out.

If your agency is not affiliated with this Academy and you wish to take one of the online courses offered (DCJS Credit can be given) the following prices will be applied:
- 2-hour training course: $35.00
- 4-hour course: $50.00
- 8-hour course: $75.00
We require a copy of your departmental identification before any training will be distributed due these trainings being law enforcement sensitive.
